Established in 2010, Startupbootcamp (SBC) is a global innovation network that scales startups and facilitates corporate innovation.
SBC Australia works with leading and multi-national organisations through its accelerators and corporate innovation initiatives including Shell, Mitsubishi, Nestlé, the Australian Grand Prix, Cricket Australia, The City of Melbourne & the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments as key partners supported by a cohort of over 150 industry and business mentors.
Startupbootcamp has a portfolio of 1500+ startups that have raised A$2.99bn. 74% are still active after 4 years. SBC has seen 16 exits. 500+ corporate startups have been launched and accelerated for Fortune 500 companies. This picture has been squashed.
Creating change is about starting small and growing. The startups in the FoodTech Tasmania program have proven their capacity to grow immensely over the last 12 weeks. I cannot wait to see how much change they can create as Australia moves towards a more sustainable food production future.
