    The problem we're solving

Smallholder farmers especially women and the youth who produce over 70% of our food in Africa are eliminated from the mainstream banking due to lack of collateral and no credit history. They end up planting poor quality seeds that use a lot chemicals hence not only reducing harvests but also degrading soil fertility. This makes them workhard and earn less hence lagging down in poverty with farming just for survival.

    Our solution

We offer smallholder farmers unsecured credit in form of climate resilient seeds and organic agro-inputs. These seeds offer high yields, reduce use of chemicals and help improve soil health biodiversity. We use an AI credit scoring system that leverages agent insights, weather patterns and yield predictions to curate the right loan for smallholder farmers. We are not just lending to smallholder farmer but we are also building for them a trusted track record of credit history.

    Our differentiator

Our model combines financing with climate resilience and market access under one trusted ecosystem. Our repayment of allowing farmers pay in form of kilograms of produce takes the cash burden off farmers hence making repayment easy and efficcient

    Biggest achievement

Our biggest achievement to date has been building a succesful model that increases farmer productivity 3x and yet enviromentally sustainable. With over 800+ farmers served, we are by far the fastest growing agriFintech startup with tangible results.
