Drew Dorweiler

Drew is Managing Director and Valuation Practice Leader at Dartmouth Partners Limited, headquartered in Montreal, Canada, with an office in Singapore; Dartmouth Management Consulting in Dubai; and Dartmouth Valuation LLC in Chicago, USA. Drew possesses over 40 years of professional experience, having valued thousands of companies for business valuation, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, fairness opinion, going public, financial reporting, and litigation support (expert witness) mandates on a global basis.

He has testified as an expert witness in 40 matters before the Parliament of Canada, Quebec Superior Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, U.S. District Court, Tax Court of Canada, Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta and arbitration panels.

Drew is recognized as one of North America's preeminent valuators of professional sports franchises and properties. His valuation and transaction repertoire includes NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, CFL, English Premier League, European and semi-professional sports teams, arenas, broadcasting and naming rights, and related intangible assets.

Drew has given numerous interviews in international television, radio and print media on valuation, financial, litigation-support, fraud-related & sports business matters, has spoken at myriad conferences and authored many articles in professional publications. He was elected to the Board of Trustees of The Appraisal Foundation for the 2013-2018 terms and to the Board of Directors of The CBV Institute from 2006-2009 (and named a Fellow in 2018). He was named a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2013. Drew was appointed to the Membership and Standards Recognition Board of the International Valuation Standards Council in 2021 and named the MSRB Chair in 2022. He was named to the Crypto-asset Working Group of the Canadian Accounting Standards Board in 2023. Drew was appointed as an Expert to the Business Valuation Institute UK in 2024.

Drew graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Economics, from Dartmouth College. He obtained a dual MBA, Corporate Finance and Accounting, from Lubin Graduate School of Business, Pace University.
