About Qianning
I'm currently building a deep-tech startup on prefabricated building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) products. For my career, I am passionate about developing and implementing sustainable solutions for renewable energy usage and low-carbon development in different industrial applications.
Trained as an architect in my undergraduate study (in China and Germany), I specialize in sustainable building design. Sustainability has become the core object of my focus since then. I got my doctorate degree in March 2020 at NUS and was a visiting scholar at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) for one year, focusing on net-zero buildings. My Ph.D. study focuses on IoT technologies regarding human-oriented buildings and behavioral change prediction in building science.
