About Eddy

Eddy has taken leadership roles in corporation innovation, startups operation and venture investment teams in Asia Pacific and Silicon Valley. He works alongside the leadership team of multi-national corporations to prioritize innovation focus, uplift innovation readiness, and provide access to startup technologies.

Corporate-startup collaborations are nurtured into product launches and commercial outcomes. This model is adopted at the current Enterprise Singapore program where multinational corporations are provided access to global startup technologies to create new market opportunities. In instances where a corporate venture or spin-off is required, Eddy creates venture governance structures and lends hand-on support of each venture from design to deployment. An example of this model was the venture build at ENGIE which resulted in a joint venture with ComfortDelgro, a leading fleet operator in Asia-Pacific.

Eddy has managed venture capital funds in Silicon Valley and Singapore. The knowledge of operating alongside the smartest and most relentless founders is imparted to corporate innovation teams and startups in his portfolio. Concurrently, Eddy is an educator with National University of Singapore, and INSEAD among other institutions, and was formerly a Stanford University consulting professor, a medical imaging scientist, and a circuit design engineer.
