About John
John Cann is the Founder and CEO of VCAP Advisors Pte. Ltd., a management and investment consultancy focusing on helping enterprises build go-to-market strategies, develop new products and services, and raise capital for expansion. Prior to VCAP Advisors, Mr. Cann was with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Pte. Ltd., as the Asia Head of Market Development with responsibility for leading the company’s regional expansion in Cloud Computing across Asia. Prior to joining AWS, he was the Asia-Pacific Senior Regional Director for Microsoft’s International Organizations Group. He oversaw the company’s relationships with multi-lateral and bi-lateral donors, governments, partners, and beneficiaries on projects throughout the region. Mr. Cann has more than 35 years of experience working with small, medium, and large enterprises delivering information technology solutions in some of the most difficult environments in the world. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Virginia, and a Masters in International Business and Commerce Policy from George Mason University in the United States.
