About Sharath
With over 20 years in tech, Sharath transitioned from building VR technologies and gaming engines to tackling an industry with untapped potential: construction.
In 2013, while many saw construction as slow to evolve, Sharath saw an opportunity for innovation. With family support and a hands-on approach, he spent months on construction sites, learning firsthand the challenges faced by workers. His experience highlighted inefficiencies and the need for better collaboration and thus was born - Lean PlanDo.
Unlike typical contech solutions, Lean PlanDo combines Lean Construction principles, Pull Planning, and team psychology into a digital platform designed to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. What began as a vision for improvement quickly gained traction, with government agencies and contractors embracing the tool. Projects began to move faster, with a newfound focus on collaboration over confrontation.
Today, Lean PlanDo continues to reshape the construction industry, transforming not just how buildings are built, but how people work together. Sharath’s focus remains on driving positive change through technology and innovation.
