Less than 5% of young Australian athletes are assessed. Sport talent identification and scouting is slow, fragmented and subjective, limiting access to athletes. Talent can be overlooked, or on the wrong pathway - meaning adult potential is decreased.

From the young athletes that are identified, resources can be spent without knowing adult potential and whether they will be worth the return on investment.

By combining evidence based research and AI computer vision: Sports teams, Institutes of Sport, and athletes can use SportMatch to objectively measure ability, develop and train. SportMatch expands the talent pool globally at the click of a button.

Our differentiator

With over 60 years of professional and academic experience in sports science and talent ID, SportMatch has developed proprietary algorithms to automate and improve talent ID. We have collated the largest known database for performance data in children and athletes in over 170 sports.

Biggest Achievement

Since launching in 2021, SportMatch has successfully identified hundreds of children from over 5,000 surveyed for elite talent pathways in the South Australian Sports Institute. We are now expanding across Australia for talent surveys to start preparation for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.
