The Position: We are seeking a Startup Investment analyst to work in our Melbourne office. You will facilitates multiple global, digital searches for startups to join one of the numerous accelerator programs that SBC Australia runs. The role involves working with each programs Managing Directors to identify and analyse the compatibility of startups with our programs themes. As the Startup Investment Analyst, you’ll build strong relationships with each program team as well as facilitate out-reach to start ups from all over the globe.  In this role, you’ll have a positive can-do mentality, an eye for detail and research, and you’re into start-ups.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the research and collaboration of each programs startup due diligence.
  • Oversee the team and their assessments of startups and liaising with MD’s on findings.
  • Manage startup outreach for due diligence and its consolidation.
  • Work directly with the Managing Directors of each program, and their Program Managers to ensure accurate data and records are kept on each start up.

Requirements:

  • University graduate, ideally in Entrepreneurship, or Business Administration
  • Strong communications
  • You are a strong administrator type person who loves to be organised and has an eye for detail and process.
  • Understand the value created by efficient but accurate due diligence.
  • You possess a professional yet fun communication style and have great written English skills.
