ApplyStartupbootcamp Australia is looking for part-time or full-time interns for our upcoming Energy, Fintech, and FoodTech Accelerator Programs. What you are amazing at:
- You have a track record of successful communication with a wide-range of talented individuals
- You are familiar with the global startup space or keen to learn
- You are an experienced information manager with excellent organisation and research skills
- You are not afraid to handle large sets of data
- You are passionate about the startup ecosystem and want to take an active role in finding and building for our Melbourne program
- You are a great team player, but also able to work on projects autonomously
- You are ambitious, highly motivated and buzzing with energy and super keen to learn fast!
- You are a born networker
- You have excellent communication skills
What you might have:
- You know what it takes to be a top-notch startup and recognises them on the spot (or are willing to learn)
- You have experience in Smart Energy, or Sport & EventTech, FinTech, or FoodTech and if not, have a genuine interest in learning. As an intern, you will be looking at startups around the world to find the best startup teams solving real-world problems in energy efficiency, energy independence, or Sports and Events Management, Sustainable FinTech, or Food Innovation. Startups could be using IoT devices, big data and machine learning to connect renewable energy to the grid or create customer centric management systems for large stadium events. Alternatively, they could be developing new business models that will disrupt the industry. It’s going to be exciting to find out what these startups are trying to do and see how we can help them!
Your responsibilities:
- Hunting for interesting startups from around the world, attracting applications to the accelerator together with our Marketing team
- Building relationship with some of the best startups out there
- Maintaining, filing and optimising a our startup database
- Working as part of a team of startup scouts in Australia and overseas
- Tracking and measuring success against KPIs
- Supporting the team in a wider range of other tasks when required, including mentoring and onboarding other scouts or interns
- Preferably able to commit for an entire scouting period (3 months). There is the potential to continue in a paid role if mutually agreed. Ideally you will be full-time but for the right candidate we can be flexible, however we require a minimum of 3 days per week.
