Mobilyze.ai is a location analytics platform working to solve the problem of ubiquitous access to charging for EV drivers. Currently, EV drivers complain that not enough charging stations exist, and yet the stations that do exist get low utilization, indicating that not enough stations exist, and they aren’t in the right places.

We use high resolution spatial data and machine learning to build a model predicting:

Which locations for new charging stations are likely to have the highest utilization;

How pricing and access can be optimized at stations to maximize revenues; and

Which individual households are mostly likely to be EV adopters for targeting sales of EVs, home chargers, and utility services.

Unique to our approach is our focus on understanding EV purchase intent at the household level, which is where key mobility choices get made. By knowing where EV adopters are now and into the future, we have unique insight into where demand for EV charging exists

Our biggest achievement to date is benchmarking access to EV charging across the 50 largest US cities. The resulting report was featured in outlets including Axios and Morning Brew, and has been downloaded by over 300 utilities, cities, automakers, ridehail platforms, and charge point operators, who we are now engaging in customer conversations.
